Erin has more than 15 years of experience in the medical field, with over a decade devoted to primary care across diverse populations. She has practiced within several healthcare models, including the traditional fee-for-service insurance system, where coverage limitations often restricted her ability to provide the high-quality, personalized care she values. Her most recent role—providing primary care in an employer-based setting—allowed her the time and space to build meaningful, lasting relationships with her patients. That experience reinforced her belief in a more personal, barrier-free approach to healthcare and ultimately inspired her to create Compass Health.
Erin studied neuroscience at Furman University in Greenville, SC, before earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Duke University. Passionate about supporting women through perimenopause and menopause, as well as helping patients navigate obesity medicine with compassion and evidence-based care, she continues to expand her expertise. She is currently pursuing advanced certifications in both areas as part of her commitment to lifelong learning in an ever-evolving field.
